Why?

I’m the kind of person who’s a bit bored of mainstream Hollywood films.

They do a lot of what they do well; English and American cinema kills at animation, and throws out some awesomely likable comedies.

But a lot of the best horror, mystery and drama comes from abroad, and my intention is to talk about the films I love, and introduce them to you, so you can love them too.

The purpose of this blog is not to say Korean/Japanese/French/Spanish cinema is better than English or American, but to introduce those who know little of foreign films to some they may love, or to throw a few new names at someone who may have watched a lot already.

Simple.

Oh, and assume that most of the films I review are rated 18; that’s just the way horror works.
